The renovation of the communal space of the hotel, designed to transform a traditional hospitality area into a warm and memorable gathering place for guests. The project reimagines the space as a Mediterranean-inspired patio, where dining, relaxation and social interaction coexist in a fluid and welcoming atmosphere. The design draws inspiration from southern European courtyards, combining textured plaster walls, Portuguese azulejos tiles, warm wood finishes and terrazzo surfaces. Architectural niches lined with patterned tiles create intimate seating areas, while a central tiled column becomes a strong visual landmark within the lounge. Overhead string lights reinforce the feeling of an outdoor courtyard, bringing softness and conviviality to the space. The layout was designed to support multiple uses : restaurant seating, lounge areas and social gathering spaces; while maintaining a cohesive identity throughout the hotel. The result is a vibrant and inviting communal area that enhances the guest experience and gives the hotel a distinctive character.
