Bälm is a visual identity created for a clothing brand focused on timeless essentials and high-quality basics. The project aims to translate the idea of durability, simplicity and elegance into a refined and cohesive graphic language. At the heart of the identity is a distinctive typographic symbol, built around the letter “ä”, which becomes both a logo and a recognizable visual signature. This symbol reflects the brand’s philosophy: creating essential garments that transcend seasons and trends. The color palette is inspired by natural and earthy tones—olive green, soft neutrals and warm browns—evoking durability, calm and authenticity. These tones reinforce the brand’s positioning around quality materials and long-lasting wardrobe staples. The visual system extends through repeating patterns, packaging, labels and editorial layouts, creating a cohesive identity across different brand touchpoints. Clean typography and minimal compositions highlight the garments themselves while maintaining a strong brand presence. The result is a modern and elegant brand identity designed to embody the idea of timeless clothing essentials.
